This robot dog teaches kindness to animals

A new scene is now being seen on the streets of the northern Mexican city of Monterrey. There, a robot dog is talking to ordinary pedestrians walking on the street by expressing various gestures. This robot, powered by artificial intelligence, is called Waldog. The job of this robot dog is to teach everyone, young and old, to show love and compassion for animals.

This robot, which looks like a beagle, is much better than an ordinary toy dog. It walks, talks, runs and plays with children. Although its voice is mechanical, it is so friendly that people feel comfortable talking to it. It works automatically using the Internet and can answer various questions from people with the help of AI.

The purpose of using Waldog in this way is to stop animal cruelty in Monterrey and raise awareness about welfare. While walking on the street, this robot dog started discussing animal rights with children and adults. It talks to pedestrians as it walks. It tells them why animals should be cared for, why it is wrong to treat them cruelly, and what to do if someone sees an animal being abused. When these messages come from the mouth of a robot dog, children are especially receptive.

Usually, campaigns for animal protection often fail to attract people's attention. But an innovative technology like Waldogu attracts anyone's attention. It brings an urgent matter to people in the guise of a game. It does not just provide information, but also creates an emotional connection with pedestrians. Authorities believe that this robot will take a place in people's minds as a friend. Which further strengthens the idea of empathy for animals.

Federal Senator Waldo Fernandez of Monterrey bought this robot named Waldogu with his own funds. It costs $ 4,084, which is about 4 lakh 96 thousand taka. He named it after himself. Waldo Fernandez, identifying himself as an animal lover, said, "This robot dog will encourage people to show kindness and responsibility towards animals."

Waldoog is operated by remote control. For this, a person needs to be with it. Fernandez said in an Instagram post that it will also serve a practical purpose. For example, it will identify garbage and potholes on the road. It will help identify other stray dogs. Robot dogs can also be used in search and rescue operations after natural disasters. Even work is underway to create robot dogs to patrol the US-Mexico border.
